Chicago Photography Rates

• HEADSHOTS

  • Chicago Headshot Details and Rates
    High resolution digital headshots in color or black-and-white;  consultations are free and encouraged;  hair and makeup artists referred upon request;  online proofs delivered within three business days after the shoot.

    New Pricing as of October 2011

    $250 headshot package.   Up to two hours of shooting, with no limit to the number of shots or wardrobe changes.   Includes full resolution images provided on disc.   Proofs posted as an online gallery for three months following the shoot.

    (A typical actor's headshot would last two hours, include 3-4 clothing changes and about 700 shots taken, of which only the best 200 would be shown to the client.)

    Retouching and Prints ordered a la carte after the shoot: $35 per image.   Each retouched image is provided on disc and as an 8x10 print.   Includes name layout for actors' headshots.

    Hair and Makeup: Optional. $135 for women;  $100 for men.   Hair/makeup time is not deducted from the two-hour shooting session.

    These rates apply for actors' headshots, modeling/comp card shoots and children's headshots.

    Business headshot package includes one retouched final image on disc.

• WEDDINGS

  • Several wedding packages available, starting at $1700.   Please e-mail johnny@johnnyknightphoto.com or call (773) 368-8707 for a list of services and rates.

• EVENTS/PARTIES

  • Digital images delivered on CD or DVD, plus online proof gallery;  disc and proofs ready for delivery within two business days after the shoot;  rush delivery available upon request.

    Standard Rate: $250 per shooting hour.

    Nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations may qualify for a lower rate.   Contact Johnny Knight Photo for terms.

    Johnny Knight retains the copyright on all photos unless exceptional arrangements are made in advance.

• THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS

  • THEATRICAL PRODUCTION / PREPRODUCTION PHOTOS:
    Unlimited shots for up to 2 hours of a rehearsal or performance;  client receives all images on CD or DVD, plus online proofs;  will shoot in studio, in theater, or on location;  disc and proofs are posted online within one business day after the shoot.

    Special Rate for Not-for-Profit, non-Equity Theaters: $250.00 per shoot.

    Other clients: $150-$250 per hour, minimum 2 hours.

    Prices include shoot, online proofs, and disc.   Additional prints or discs: $20.00 each.   Transportation may be billed as an additional expense.

    Johnny Knight retains the copyright on all photos.   Client is given permission to print and redistribute photos for promotion of the company and its work.

    
    

• PRINTS

  • Limited-edition, hand-signed archival prints of certain images on this site are available for $60 - $200 each.   Price varies with print size and finishing/mounting options.

    All images from the seriesHer Special Day: A Gallery of Elegant Brides are available for purchase.

    Many other images are not available for purchase;  in particular, no image from the Headshots or Family Portraits galleries will be sold, except to the original client.
